E-Z  Lern offers a flexible classroom schedule.  Our curriculum was developed to allow the teen to have flexibility and to achieve at his or her own pace.

We returned to in-person classes in September.  Our next sessions started on November 4, 2024. 

Students may start in any class session, except S# 11 (Parent/Teen).  Class is held Monday's, Tuesday's, and Wednesday's 3:30pm - 5:30 pm. @ E-Z Lern, 391 Broad St., Meriden, Ct.    Schedule/Calendar dates are available on Teen Calendar below.

January 7, 2025- February 11, 2025-  Class sessions will be done on Zoom, 6pm-8pm..  Stay home, stay safe & warm, no need to travel to class.  Schedule/Calendar dates are available on Teen Calendar below.

To get started, you must be 16 or 17 years old, and have parents' or legal guardian's permission to attend driver's education.  You can start any class day, any class session, except S# 11, Parent class.

 PLEASE REGISTER ONLINE, forms will be emailed, or stop by our office.  Walk-in hours are 10 am - 3pm, Monday - Friday.

Bring one of the following: 

Learner's Permit, (may start class without a learner's permit), Birth Certificate, passport, or permanent resident card.

Plus:

A permission form signed by a parent/guardian, and payment.

Payment may be made in full, $575.00 or in two installments, $325.00, 1st installment and 2nd installment of $250.00.

Students may register ONLINE or IN PERSON at our office, 391 Broad St., Meriden, CT.  

When you have achieved 10 to 12 hours of class, have your learners permit, you will be assigned to the vehicle and your driving instructor.  Our policy is to have your behind the wheel lessons taught by the same instructor, as he/she will have better knowledge of your learning ability, what works best for you, and the progress you have made.

All driving lessons will begin & end  @ E-Z Lern , 391 Broad St., Meriden.

Upon completion of your driver's education course, you will be issued the CS-1 Certificate, E-DEC.  

To take your Road Test, you will need to have held the learners permit for a minimum of 120 days, completed the minimum 32 additional hours of behind the wheel practice with your parent or legal guardian.

Off-Site testing (at our facility) is available to our 30 & 8 course students, using our vehicle, for an additional $75.00.
