E-Z  Lern offers Teen in-person and Teen Zoom classes at different times during the year.  Our curriculum was designed to allow both in person learning and virtual learning.  The behind the wheel lessons are flexible. 

THE TEEN COURSE 30 HOURS CLASS IS BEING OFFERED ON ZOOM FOR THE MONTHS OF JUNE, JULY AND AUGUST.  EACH MONTH WE WILL START A NEW GROUP OF SESSIONS.  THE 30 HOURS CLASS CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED IN 8 DAYS.  SPACE IS LIMITED, THEREFORE ON A FIRST COME BASIS, SO DON'T WAIT TO REGISTER!  REGISTRATION IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL REGISTRATION FORM WITH PARENTAL CONSENT, REQUESTED DOCUMENTS AND PAYMENT IS RECEIVED.       

We offer a Full Teen Driver's Education Course (30 hours class & 8 Hours Behind the wheel) for 16- and 17-year-olds - E-Z Lern will offer the 30 hours Teen Drivers Education classroom on-line with Zoom during the summer.  This is an accelerated course, that will be held once a month, during the months of June, July and August.   Two different, two-hour numbered sessions will be held per day from 9:00am-11:00am & 11:10am-1:10pm, with the exception of S#11 (Parent Class) which is 6:00pm -8:00pm (ZOOM).  Sessions are numbered.  Students must complete all sessions #1-#15.  Students may start in any session, except S#11 (Parent Class).  The 30 hours class (15 sessions) can be accomplished in 8 days.   The class schedule can be found on Teen Calendar below.  Any sessions missed, may be taken when the sessions start over in the following month.  All required documents and payments must be submitted/received by our office, in advance.   Enrollment is on a first come basis!

THE ACCELERATED COURSE SCHEDULE:

GROUP I- JUNE 22, 2026- JULY 2, 2026

GROUP II- JULY 7, 2026 - JULY 16, 2026.

GROUP III- AUGUST 5, 2026 - AUGUST 14, 2026

To get started, you must be 16 or 17 years old, and have parents' or legal guardian's permission to attend driver's education.  You can start any class day/class session, except S# 11 (Parent/Teen  Class).

 REQUEST REGISTRATION FORM ONLINE -A registration form can be emailed or obtained in person.  Stop by our office during walk-in hours, Monday-Friday 10 am - 3 pm.

Bring one of the following: 

Learner's Permit, (may start class without a learner's permit), Birth Certificate, passport, or permanent resident card.

Plus:

A permission form signed by a parent/guardian, and payment.

Payment may be made in full, $675.00 or in two installments, $375.00- 1st installment and $300.00 -2nd installment.

Students may register ONLINE or IN PERSON at our office, 391 Broad St., Meriden, CT.  

Typically, when you have achieved  8 to 10 hours of class and have a learners permit, you may be assigned to a driving instructor for your behind the wheel lessons.   Please call the office to get scheduled.   Our policy is to have your behind the wheel lessons taught by the same instructor, as he/she will have better knowledge of your learning ability, what works best for you, and the progress you have made.

All driving lessons will begin & end at E-Z Lern , 391 Broad St., Meriden.

Upon completion of your driver's education course, you will be issued the CS-1 Certificate, E-DEC.  

To take your Road Test, you will need to have held the learners permit for a minimum of 120 days, completed the minimum 32 additional hours of behind the wheel practice with your parent or legal guardian.

Off-Site testing (at our facility) is available to our Full Teen 30 & 8 course students, using our vehicle, for an additional $75.00.
